This website
This site is a set of static and server-rendered pages. It does not ask you to create an account, does not set advertising cookies, and does not embed third-party tracking scripts.
Pages that show release information ask GitHub's public API for the current release of Biebie Kube. That request is made by our server, not by your browser, and the response is cached and shared between visitors. GitHub does not learn anything about you from it.
Download links point at GitHub's release storage. When you click one, the file is fetched from GitHub and GitHub's own privacy policy applies to that request.
The desktop applications
Biebie Kube
Biebie Kube runs entirely on your computer. It reads the kubeconfig files already on your machine and connects directly from your machine to your clusters. Cluster credentials are not transmitted to Biebie and there is no Biebie service in the connection path.
The application checks for new versions by asking GitHub whether a newer release exists. That request contains no information about your clusters.
Biebie Access
Biebie Access stores connection secrets in the credential store provided by your operating system: the Keychain on macOS, Credential Manager on Windows, or the Secret Service on Linux. Secrets are not written into configuration files and are redacted from the application's activity log. Profile exports deliberately exclude passwords.
Server logs
Requests to this site are handled by Cloudflare, which keeps standard request logs for operating and protecting the service. We do not combine those logs with anything else or use them to build a profile of individual visitors.
